A gugglet is an earthenware or porcelain vessel, often pear-shaped, used for storing and keeping water cool in hot climates through evaporative cooling, and it's famously associated with antique Worcester porcelain. The name might come from the gurgling sound the water makes when poured or the Portuguese word gorgoleta
